An ANOVA was performed to examine the three subspecies for statistical differences when sufficient sample numbers permitted the analysis. Values for body parameters represent combined male and female specimens with the exception of body length due to the differences in the genital structures influencing body length. The Tukey-Kramer test shows the values for M. pronotalis hesperius n. ssp. differ from the other two subspecies with Q values between 7.6449 and 11.3052 and P values between 3.289x10 -4 and 6.318x10 -6 .
